Sonia O'Sullivan has been appointed ambassador and champion to the Vodafone Dublin City Triathlon, which takes place in the Phoenix Park on August 28th. Vodafone encourage their employees to take part in the event to raise money for the ISPCC Childline.
Based around the Phoenix Park, over 1,000 participants will take to the start line on Sunday August 28th beginning with a fast swim in the River Liffey before transitioning into Phoenix Park for a smooth and fast bike ride and run course. Appealing to novices and experiences races alike, participants can select from an Olympic distance race (1500m swim, 40km bike and 10km run) and a Sprint distance race (750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run). All finishers will recieve a generous goodie bag including a hoodie and shammy swim towel plus a commemorative medal.
