Diarmuid Gavin won a very prestigious award in the category "Art at Work" at the Field Marketing and Brand Experience Awards in London recently. Some of Diarmuid's competitors were Rolls Royce, Cadburys, and JC Decaux.

Diarmuid's garden which was on display in Dundrum Town Centre was called the "Garden of Pure Imagination".

The garden is based on the Willy Wonka tune of the same name and it features immaculate conical trees, topiary balls and an elegant brick folly which sits in front of a sunken rectangular pond, and every 15 minutes, flowerbeds rise from the ground while trees twirl and a wooden shed comes to life full of cogs and gardening gadgets.

It was a fantastic success in Dundrum with people queueing up to see it.

Gorgeous Gardens Masterclass in Liffey Valley Retail Park.

The audience included lots of enthusiastic gardeners who were looking for much needed advice on their own gardens. Diarmuid spoke about hot topics around gardens this summer, such as entertaining outside, bringing the outdoors indoors, working with small spaces and pet friendly gardens; he also brought a selection of plants with him which were purchased in the newly opened store "The Range".

There was something for everyone on the day.

Award winning garden designer Diarmuid Gavin launched a nationwide campaign with GroMór to get the country growing.

GroMór's main aim of the campaign, in association with Garden Centres and growers across Ireland, is to give clear and useful advice on how to best grow plants, herbs, flowers, fruits, vegetables and to highlight the health benefits of gardening.

A series of 50 free gardening demonstrations will take place in throughout the nation in GroMór Garden Centres from April to September offering a whole variety of themes. 

​​Diarmuid Gavin is bringing his spectacular Chelsea Flower Show Garden to Dundrum Town Centre and it will be on display from the 20th May until September 2017. 

The critically acclaimed garden was one of the highlights of the 2016 Chelsea Flower Show and emulates pure childhood fantasy. The garden has seven moving parts and theatrical shows which last a minute and a half. Diarmuid launched the garden this month and we are so looking forward to seeing this work of art while doing a spot of shopping at Dundrum!

RTÉ TV Chef Martin Shanahan and celebrity Maître D’ John Healy, from TV3’s ‘The Restaurant’ drew the crowds to the Nespresso stand at the first day of the CATEX exhibition in the RDS recently.

Martin who also owns the award winning Fishy Fishy restaurant in Kinsale, provided coffee and food tastings for attendees, so that they could learn  about the Nespresso range of Grands Crus and how they enable venues to provide their customers with bespoke quality coffee drinks and complement a venue’s food offering.
