DIY SOS with Baz Ashmawy

Presenter Baz Ashmawy and his team of volunteers are renovating homes for deserving families across Ireland in his new show "DIY SOS".

His first show last Sunday left not a dry eye in the house. After a tragic accident which left 13 year old Amy Mulcahy with special needs, Baz and the team in a period of nine days, gave her back the comfort and facilities she needed to maintain a better life.

The show continues on RTE One, Sunday evenings at 6.30pm.

Declan O'Donnell Hosts Image Interior Awards

The Image Interiors & Living Design Awards took place recently in Fade Street Social in Dublin and was hosted by Architect and presenter, Declan O'Donnell.

Ireland has a rich heritage of creativity and since the first issue of Image Interiors & Living 27 years ago the magazine have prided themselves on championing and supporting the designers and the industry.

From product and furniture designers to craftspeople and retailers, the lunch honoured 41 nominees in a variety of categories after a rigorous shortlisting process by five judges and over 4,500 reader votes.

Acclaimed Architect Declan O'Donnell will be back on your screens on RTE One, Thursday 2nd March with the popular show "Home of the Year"

Home of the Year features homeowners around Ireland who have done something extraordinary to a place they call home. Over 8 weeks, 21 homes will compete for the title, with three different unique properties featured each week.

Looking for individuality, functionality and clever design, the judges individually score each of the homes out of 10, the home with the highest combined score in each programme goes through to the final, where the ultimate winner is crowned.
