Ryan Tubridy launched his latest book "Patrick and the President" to a full house in Dubray Books on Grafton Street recently.
The book tells the story of John F Kennedy's return to his ancestral home in Ireland, through the eyes of a young boy, Patrick, who only wanted to shake the President's hand.
John F. Kennedy described his visit to Ireland in 1963 as the best four days of his life and for a generation of people of Ireland it was a visit with lasting impact, and many homes still display their JFK memorabilia with pride.
The book is beautifully illustrated by P.J. Lynch.
