 | Lottie Ryan announced as ambassador for the Great Pink Run 2016 with Avonmore Slimline Milk. The event now in its 6th year will attract thousands of entrants for both the timed 10K challenge and the 5K fun run with all funds going to Breast Cancer Ireland’s pioneering research and awareness programmes nationally. Last year’s run was supported by over 5,200 people and it raised over €130,000 towards research. This year the organisers are hoping to attract close to 6,500 runners, joggers and walkers many of whom will don elaborate pink costumes, paint their faces and run along to the music. |
