Kathryn Thomas recently launched the annual "Happy Heart" Appeal in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation.
The appeal which took place nationwide on the 12th May, has a target of €500,000 to ensure that The Irish Heart Foundation can continue to provide vital funds so that continuous CPR training is given to every community in Ireland to help save lives from sudden cardiac arrest.
This year’ campaign features a newly designed pin created by contemporary Irish designer, Orla Kiely.
