The Chernobyl Children International annual lunch was held in the Intercontinental Hotel last week, to raise much needed funds for Adi Roche's charity CCI.
Celebrities turned out in force to support this amazing event, including Lyric Soprano Celine Byrne who lifted the roof off with her amazing voice.
The afternoon also saw Chernobyl survivor Raisa Carolan take to the stage to share her heart-breaking experience before she was adopted by the Carolan family in Co. Meath. Despite being an amputee and having to undergo over 30 operations Raisa is determined to live her life to the full and has joined the Irish Wheelchair Rugby team. She has also just graduated with a Masters in Criminology.
