This year has seen Baz Ashmawy join forces with SSE Airtricity as an Ambassador to challenge Ireland to live greener and to inform people to make more sustainable choices in their everyday lives. Baz and his family took part in a twenty one day challenge, making small changes to their daily habits such as choosing locally sourced food, opting for sustainable fashion and ditching unnecessary appliances in the home.
Last week, Baz and his family got on board to launch a ‘Summer of Sustainability’ at Dublin Zoo as the famous Dublin landmark is hosting two sustainability weekends this summer. Using the eco-explorer app on his phone, Baz visited a number of sustainability stations as well as exciting new areas like the Bug Hotel and the Kaziranga Forest Trail. A great day out was had by all.
