| The "People of they Year" awards was a black tie event held in City West recently, it was hosted by Aidan Power, and broadcast live on RTE One. This prestigious ceremony is a special opportunity for the Irish public to honour and celebrate those extraordinary people who have shown courage, bravery, commitment and determination. Among the award winners were Robbie Keane, Olympic rowers Paul and Gary O'Donovan, Sailor Annalise Murphy, and Buncrana tragedy hero Davitt Walsh, to name but a few. |  |
