 | Aidan Power was Master of Ceremonies at the 2017 Irish League of Credit Union Schools Quiz final recently. The event attracts more than 25,000 participants and the local and regional knockout rounds were organised by volunteers from 400 ILCU affiliated credit unions, and took place in over 300 venues throughout the 32 counties over the winter months. One of the big surprises on the day was the visit of Ireland’s Olympic rowing silver medallists Gary and Paul O’Donovan, who offered words of encouragement to all of the teams nervously waiting to take part in the quiz |
