Jenny is a TV Broadcaster, Voiceover Artist and Actress. She has worked with a number of stations including RTÉ, Virgin Media and UTV Ireland.
In 2018, Jenny hosted 'Discovering Ireland's Ancient East' a television show made for US audiences on My Destination TV which showcased Irish food, restaurants and suppliers all across Dublin, Wexford and Wicklow. The programme was produced by Lisa-Renée Ramirez of Entertainment Studios USA.
Previously an actress, she studied her profession at the prestigious Gaiety School of Acting, completing a two-year full-time course. Her first professional break was on the stage of the Olympia Theatre playing the part of Nicola in Roddy Doyle’s The Woman Who Walked Into Doors. She also taught drama for over ten years and ran her own drama school in Ballymun and Howth and taught in many secondary schools around Dublin’s Northside.
After numerous stage and TV acting roles including Tara Road, The Big Bow Wow and Poker Nights, Jenny turned her hand to presenting. Jenny began her presenting career anchoring Access Hollywood on Channel 6 and then presented the entire TV series of Ireland’s first ever surf show, Cois Farraige on Channel 6, now known as 3e. The show explored the Irish surfing culture and travelling around the west coast of Ireland. The show first aired in January 2008.
Working freelance she continued her profession both on RTÉ and Virgin Media where she reported on short European breaks on the eleventh series of RTÉ’s No Frontiers. She was also a guest mentor on Celebrity Apprentice on Virgin Media. Jenny joined boss Caroline Downey to monitor the contestants during their task and reported on how they got on. Jenny has also guest presented Xposé on Virgin Media.
Never afraid of a challenge, Jenny volunteered to climb Mount Kilimanjaro for Our Lady’s Children Hospital, Crumlin which was filmed as a documentary for RTÉ Two.
Joining UTV Ireland as their official Weather Girl for the station, Jenny then went on to host one of Ireland’s leading entertainment shows The Pulse reaching an audience of 120,000-280,000 on Friday nights at 8pm. Fashion was one of the central themes of the show where brands from Brown Thomas to Penny’s showcased their designs. Sponsored by Diet Coke, The Pulse reached a wide female demographic of 25-65 year olds.
In addition to her acting and presenting, Jenny is recognised as one of Ireland’s foremost Voiceover Artists. She is the voice of the Supervalu checkout and works for premium brands such as The Sunday Independent, Benecol and SMA.
Jenny has been nominated numerous times for VIP Magazine’s Most Stylish Lady.
