Carl Mullan is a Radio and TV Broadcaster, and Content Creator. He currently hosts ‘2FM Breakfast with Carl, Donncha & Aifric’ alongside Donncha O’Callaghan and Aifric O’Connell. Carl took part in Series 6 of Dancing With The Stars Ireland. Carl was crowned the 2023 winner, alongside pro dance partner Emily Barker.
In 2022, Carl presented Takeaway Titans on RTÉ 2 alongside James Kavanagh as well as renowned critic Dylan McGrath and takeaway expert and winner of Britain’s Best Home Cook Suzie Lee Arbuthnot.
Christmas Eve of 2022, The Full Irish Hidden Camera Show aired with Carl, Donncha and Doireann. The trio played pranks on the public, who were put in bizarre and outrageous situations.
In 2019, Carl hosted his own adventure/travel show ‘Go Outside and Play’ for the RTÉ Player. The show returned for a second season in 2020, focusing on activities that could be done during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021 there was a third instalment of the series where Carl and co-host Karl Doyle went in search of some of Ireland’s most scenic locations that were made famous on the big screen.
Carl rose to attention across social media in 2020, where he became known for his sketches and interesting takes on Irish life. He has amassed a social following of 349,000 Instagram followers, 114,500 TikTok followers, and over 17,200 Twitter followers.
