Anna Geary is a Radio and TV Broadcaster and a Performance and Mindset Coach. She is also a qualified Personal Trainer and a former All Ireland Winning Camogie Captain.
Anna has won over 20 All Ireland medals during her illustrious sporting career, including 7 Senior titles. Since retiring from Camogie, the Cork native has been carving out a broadcasting career.
Anna recently presented her own weekly RTE Radio One health and wellbeing show called “Supercharged with Anna Geary”. The series featured expert advice, interviews with well-known guests from the health, wellness and fitness industry, and human-interest stories and audience interaction. Anna is the current winning coach on the popular RTÉ One's television programme “Ireland's Fittest Family” and was previously the winning coach in 2016 & 2018. She presents the TV show “Squad Goals” on RTE Kids and is also a Sports Pundit for RTE’s “The Sunday Game” TV show.
In 2021, Anna presented the very well received RTÉ Two documentary, “Anna Geary: Why Girls Quit Sport”, where she spent several months with a group of young teenage girls learning and uncovering possible reasons for the high drop-out rates.
Anna is a columnist for national newspaper publications, including a recent Fitness and Mindset series for the Irish Independent and previously for The Irish Examiner “Feel Good” supplement.
Anna previously presented a radio show Pumped Up Kicks on Today FM with Declan Piece on Saturdays from 2pm-6pm and The Sunday Show with Anna Geary on Cork’s Red FM, as well as contributing to multiple shows including, “Today with Claire Byrne” on RTE Radio One.
In 2018 Anna was a finalist on the hugely popular RTÉ One's Dancing with the Stars and was also the Cork Rose of Tralee back in 2014.
Anna is a popular MC and a qualified Executive and Life Coach with a focus on Performance, Mindset, Fitness and Wellbeing. Anna also has a keen interest in the areas of Leadership and Motivation. She regularly speaks at events on topics including Self-Motivation, Progress Not Perfection, The Fear of Failure, Change and Energy Management. Anna has seven years’ experience in the corporate world working for large multinationals in a variety of roles.

Anna presented the documentary ”Fire in the Blood”, and guest presented on the popular RTE show, Tracks and Trails. She also guest presented on “Big Week on The Farm” and featured on the popular health show Operation Transformation as a mentor. Separately on Virgin Media One, she had a sports segment on The Six O Clock Show, a show which she also presented on a number of occasions.

As a founding member of the Women's Gaelic Players Association, Anna is an advocate for reforming public perceptions of female athletes and for breaking down barriers surrounding women in leadership roles across society.
Having won numerous prestigious awards during her career including 4 All Stars, Anna was chosen to receive a coveted ‘Contribution of Society’ award from the University of Limerick Alumni of which only 29 have been awarded in 10 years. She was also inducted in the University of Limerick Sports “Hall of Fame”.
She has worked as a Brand Ambassador for the likes of Repak, Laya HealthCare, SuperValu, Linwoods, Huawei, Littlewoods Irelands, Cristallo di Milano and many others.
She currently works with a variety of companies, teams and on a one-to-one basis as a Mindset Coach. Anna specialises in designing workshops for clients of all different backgrounds, ages and needs.
She is a Business Graduate of The University of Limerick (2009) with a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations, Communication and also holds qualifications in Leadership and Life Coaching.
She initially started her career in the IT industry and has honed her skills in areas of Sales, HR, Public Relations and Marketing, before changing career paths to focus on Media and Performance Coaching full time.
Giving back is important to Anna and she has worked in ambassador roles with a variety of charities over the years including Breast Cancer Ireland, CHI at Crumlin, Make A Wish, Enable Ireland, Pieta House, The Hope Foundation.
