Anna Geary is a Radio & TV Broadcaster, an All Ireland Winning Camogie Captain, Performance Coach and No.1 Best-Selling Author. She is also a qualified personal trainer and content creator. Anna has won over 20 All Ireland medals during her illustrious sporting career, including 7 Senior All Ireland’s medals with Cork and her club, Milford. Since retiring from Camogie, the Cork native has been carving out a successful broadcasting career.
Anna is a three time winning Coach on the RTE One hit TV programme, “Ireland's Fittest Family” which she is currently back filming for the 2024 season, after becoming a new mum last year.
Anna is the presenter of the international TV format, “Love In The Country” (known as “Farmer Wants A Wife” abroad) . This show, on RTE2, follows six rural singletons on the hunt for love, as they feel living and working in the country makes it hard to find that special someone.

She is currently a Sports Pundit for RTÉ on “The Sunday Game” and has also presented the TV documentary, “Fire in the Blood”, as well as “Squad Goals” on RTÉ Kids. Anna has guest presented various RTÉ TV shows such as “Today with Maura & Daithi”, “Tracks and Trails”, “Big Week on The Farm”.
She previously presented a mid-week sports highlights TV show on Eir Sport, where they dissected the previous week's matches and performances.
Anna presented the radio show “Pumped Up Kicks” on Today FM with Declan Piece LIVE on Saturdays from 2pm-6pm back in 2019-2020. It featured interviews and advice from experts & well-known sportspeople, sports updates as well as interaction with fans. She has previously presented, “The Sunday Show with Anna Geary” on Cork’s Red FM. Anna contributes to multiple mainstream shows including, “Today with Claire Byrne” on RTÉ Radio One.
In 2018, Anna was a finalist on the hugely popular RTÉ One's, “Dancing with the Stars” and she was also the Cork Rose of Tralee back in 2014.
As a founding member of the Women's Gaelic Players Association, Anna is an advocate for reforming public perceptions of female athletes and for breaking down barriers surrounding women in leadership roles across society.
Having won numerous prestigious awards during her sports career including 4 Senior All Stars, Anna was chosen to receive a coveted ‘Contribution of Society’ award from the University of Limerick Alumni of which only 29 have been awarded in 10 years. She was also inducted in the University of Limerick Sports “Hall of Fame”.
She has worked as a Brand Ambassador for the brands such as Repak, Laya HealthCare, Irish Tax Rebates, SuperValu, Linwoods, Huawei, Littlewoods Irelands and many others.
She currently works with a variety of companies, teams and on a one-to-one basis as a Coach. Anna specialises in designing workshops for clients of all different backgrounds, ages and needs.
She is a Business Graduate of The University of Limerick (2009) with a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations, Communication and holds qualifications in Leadership and Executive Coaching. She initially started her career in the IT industry and has honed her skills in areas of Sales, HR, Public Relations and Marketing, before changing career paths to focus on Media and Performance Coaching full time.
Giving back is important to Anna and she has worked in ambassador roles with a variety of charities over the years including Breast Cancer Ireland, CHI at Crumlin, Make A Wish, Enable Ireland and The Hope Foundation.
