Mikey O’Reilly has been working in radio since the age of 21, getting his start on weekends at Dublin’s FM104. After gaining experience in live broadcasting, he moved on to host ‘The Hit Mix’ , a weeknight music show from 7-10 pm. The role gave him the opportunity to interview artists like Tom Grennan in Germany, go on stage with The Script at Dublin’s 3Arena, and get to know Lewis Capaldi backstage at Malahide Castle.
In 2024, he took on an additional role co-hosting ‘Gerrup Outta Dat’ with comedian Enya Martin every Saturday morning on FM104. Over time, the show built a strong listenership, reaching 71,000 live listeners each week bringing the show to number 1 in Dublin before his departure.
Now, Mikey has moved to a national platform, joining RTÉ 2FM as a weekend presenter. Teaming up with ‘Young Offenders’ actress Demi Isaac, ‘Weekends on 2FM with Demi & Mikey’ launches on March 15th.
