Sinéad Desmond is an Irish television presenter, presenting TV3 breakfast show Ireland AM. For most of her career she has worked as journalist in both the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, writing for publications including the monthly food magazine for The Observer newspaper, Marie Claire and Vogue magazines in the UK; and The Sun in both the UK and Ireland.
Sinéad Desmond is the co-anchor of Ireland AM. Having spent most of her career as a newspaper journalist with the Sun both in Britain and Ireland as features and deputy features Editor respectively, Sinead brings a wealth of journalistic talent to the number one breakfast show.
She is a fluent speaker in French, German and Italian, also holds a BA Hons in English and Drama and studied Film and Television at Leeds University.
