Karen Koster is the anchor of Ireland's primetime entertainment news show, Xposé, which is broadcast on TV3, every weekday evening.
Since joining the station in 2004, Karen has become one of TV3's most prominent presenters. In addition to hosting Xpose, Karen has also presented The TV Now Awards, Ireland's Top Teens, Midday, and Total Xposure.
Last year Karen was TV3's Royal Correspondent which saw her cover the Royal Wedding from London.
This year will see her co-host The Peter Mark VIP Style Awards with Boyzone Star turned actor Keith Duffy.
Karen from Killiney, Co. Dublin, joined TV3's Ireland AM in February 2004 and cut her teeth presenting the weather. She quickly ascended up the ranks and moved onto covering fashion, beauty and reporting on entertainment stories.
After working on live TV for 3 years, Karen then joined Xpose when it launched in 2007.
Highlights to date include covering the Oscars in LA, The BAFTAs, Cannes Film Festival, Paris and London Fashion week, and also reporting from the movie world's biggest premieres.
Karen is much in demand as an MC, having hosted Dublin Fashion Week, The L'Oreal Professionelle Colour Trophy Awards, The Wella Professionelle Showcase, and numerous fashion shows all around the country.
This is in addition to hosting the annual Xpose Live exhibition with her co-presenters.
Karen has also acted as Horse Racing Ireland's Fashion Ambassador. In 2010, she became the Irish face of Karen Millen, who dress Karen exclusively on Xpose.
Karen graduated from Trinity College, Dublin in 2003 with a degree in English Literature and French.
Aged 20, she got her first taste of TV when she featured in The Selection Box, the reality series which followed auditions for the job of presenting the quiz show The Fame Game. Karen then decided that television was the industry she wanted to work in. She went on to work as a runner on various entertainment programmes for RTE, before sending her show reel to TV3.
