Adèle King is referred to by every magazine and newspaper in Ireland as the Number One female entertainer in the country. She has been a professional entertainer since she was five years of age.

From her days as a Gaiety Kiddie and chorister with the Young Dublin Singers, to the hugely successful maxi dick and twink. From 1970 she spent five years entertaining in the stardust hotel in the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas.


Adele King - Noel Kelly AgentAlthough she started out life as a ballet dancer, she has been known as a singer /dancer / actress/ comedienne in musical theatre for the best part of her life. Her main work in Dublin London and The USA has been primarily light entertainment in Theatre and television.

In recent years some of the most enjoyable of those being her starring role with the legendary Perry Como in his (last) coast to coast Christmas special the LATE LATE tribute show to her life and career which was on last Christmas.

She also Became a 4 star chef in RTE'S "The Restaurant" and was a vocal coach and choreographer on "celebrity your a star". Her role as Ireland's undisputed queen of the panto in The Gaiety, The Olympia, and The Point is the most remembrable.


Some of her other favorite theatre roles were "Nancy" in Oliver, "Miss Hannigan "in Annie, A Country in Our Heads (Andrews Lane Theatre) "Mena Glavin" in a national tour of John B. Keane's " Sive".

In theatre, the one woman play, "Not I", for the Samuel Beckett Festival at the Gate, "Marjorie" in Extremities at The Cork Opera House.The Vagina Monologues at S.F.X. City Theatre. The role of "Elsie" in Dirty Dusting. Brian Byrne’s breathtaking musical Black Sunrise at The National Concert Hall.

Narrating The Snowman with the RTE Concert Orchestra at The Helix. “Arts Extravaganza" at The Olympia. She received outstanding critical acclaim for her portrayal of "Lady Jane Speranza Wilde" in The Life of Oscar Wilde by The Theatre Workshop. She has just finished filming a pilot for a new TV sitcom. Her latest project is Dirty Dusting.


The love of her life for the past four years (apart of course from her two beloved daughters Chloë and Naomi and all her mutts n' moggies) are all her talented and wonderful little stars in her three theatre schools AKTS (Adèle King Theatre School).

One of her favorite new “challenges” has been in the role of guest presenter on “Moncrief” on FM 106. She was the a member of the judging panel on RTE’s new talent show for teens "Class Act" in the autumn of 2007.

She opened in the TIVOLI THEATRE in October 2007 for producer ROBERT C. KELLY in the hysterically funny MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL….which has now proven to be one of the biggest Theatrical success’s of all time in Irish theatre, having already played to over 65,000 people, and on it’s 5th extension of the run…..she will tour with the show again this year. Adele’s most recent leading roles have been the Smash Hit Comedy Sensation ‘Dirty Dusting’ and the wickedly funny ‘Mum’s the Word’, both of which are Robert C Kelly productions.

She appeared on RYAN TUBRIDY’S “TUBRIDY TONIGHT” in 2008 with one of her daughters Chloë, before Chloë’s return to the USA with the world wide hit show CELTIC WOMAN and more recently appeared on the Late Late, showcasing her first love, Sugar Craft.
