Jenny Buckley - Actor - TV Presenter


Jenny Buckley studied her profession at the prestigious Gaiety School of Acting, completing a two year full time course.


Her first professional break was on the stage of The Olympia Theatre playing the part of Nicola in Roddy Doyle's The Woman Who Walked Into Doors.

After numerous stage and TV acting roles (Tara Road, The Big Bow Wow, Poker Nights) she turned her hand to presenting and landed her first presenting job as the anchor girl for Channel 6's Access Hollywood and then presented the entire TV series of Ireland’s first ever surf show, Cois Farraige.



Continuing on the travelling front, her next presenting role was for RTE’s No Frontiers, where she reported on European short breaks.

In addition to her acting and presenting, Jenny is recognised as one of Ireland’s foremost Voice Over artists and is the automated voice of the Superquinn checkout and voices major advertising campaigns.These include  Xtra-Vision, Clarins and she is currently the voice of Dunnes Stores.

Never afraid of a challenge, Jenny volunteered to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro for Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin which was filmed as a documentary for RTE2.

Jenny has been teaching drama for over 10 years . In that time she ran her own drama school in Ballymun and taught in many secondary schools around  Dublin’s Northside. Currently, she is the director of Stars Stage School, a new performing arts school in Howth.
