At a very young age Jenny quickly developed an interest in the Performing Arts and for many years spent her weekends learning her craft at The Billie Barry Stage School. She then went on to complete a course in Theatre Studies at Colaiste Dhulaigh before attending the Gaiety School of Acting for two years of full-time training.
Her first professional break was on the stage of the Olympia playing the part of Nicola in Roddy Doyle's 'The Woman Who Walked Into Doors'.
Subsequent screen roles include 'Sarah' in The Big Bow Wow, 'Mrs Blennerhasset' in The Clinic and ‘Lisa’ in Tara Road (Film).
She also combines her acting work with voice-overs (VO) for both TV and Radio and has, in recent years, become one of Ireland’s foremost VO artists.
Principal advertising campaigns include Dunnes Stores, Danone, Nivea , GE Money, Budget Travel and Bank of Ireland. Jenny completed The Bill Keating Course in presenting and landed her first job as a presenter on Channel 6's Access Hollywood.
Embracing the glitz and glamour that the job entailed, she enthusiastically reported on the latest celebrity gossip and also successfully interviewed a host of red carpet celebrities, including Paris Hilton, Oliver Stone, Toni Collette to name but a few.
The Baftas were a particular highlight as Jenny managed to interview some of Britain’s and Hollywood’s biggest stars.
Not afraid of a new challenge and to show her versatility, Jenny went on to present Ireland’s first ever surf show, Cois Farraige, which involved spending the summer in the west of Ireland learning how to surf and getting to meet and interview Ireland’s first-ever surfing professionals.
Despite the lack of access to her wardrobe, make-up and creature-comforts, Jenny nonetheless took to the outdoor life like the true professional she is! In addition to her presenting and voice-over work, Jenny hosts many charity balls and corporate events.
She is well-known on the hosting circuit and recent events include: The DCU fashion show at the Helix with Keith Duffy, Georgina Campbell’s Food Guide with Derek Davis and The Brown Thomas Fashion Show at the Four Seasons.
